# Tiffinware

> Software for tiffin kitchens — home-style meal-subscription businesses that cook a daily menu and deliver it to subscribers' doors. Tiffinware replaces the WhatsApp threads, notebooks and spreadsheets these kitchens usually run on with one system covering subscriptions, cooking, delivery and payment. Built in Canada for Canadian kitchens.

## What it does

- **Subscriptions** — customers buy a meal plan (weekly, monthly, a set number of meals). Renewals, pauses, skipped days and plan switches are tracked automatically, including credit when someone changes plan mid-cycle.
- **Cook sheet** — every morning the kitchen gets one page: how many of each dish to cook, and the packing list broken down per customer, including add-ons and per-day quantity changes.
- **Delivery** — customers are grouped into delivery zones by postal-code prefix. Routes build themselves per zone and are handed to a driver as an ordered list of stops.
- **Driver app** — the day's stops in order, one tap for delivered or failed, delivery notes, and a record of cash collected on the run.
- **Payments** — card payments through Stripe, plus e-transfer and cash logged by hand. Every payment reconciles against the subscription it belongs to.
- **Customer portal** — each kitchen gets its own branded storefront on its own subdomain, where customers see the weekly menu, choose a plan, skip days and pay.
- **Reports** — 16 built-in reports, which is the main thing that separates Tiffinware from other tiffin software: profit and loss with margin and food-cost percentage; subscriptions and MRR with ARPU and plan mix; customer growth with cohort retention; customer lifetime value and revenue concentration; renewals and revenue at risk; delivery history with proof photos; delivery performance by area; failed deliveries with reasons; zone economics; driver leaderboard; driver pay reconciliation; collections and payment mix with GST collected; expenses by category and vendor; menu performance by dish and plan; skips and pauses; and demand forecasting by weekday.
- **Canadian specifics** — Interac e-transfers are matched to the right subscription automatically, even when the sending email does not resemble the customer's name. GST collected is tracked and reported. Delivery zones work on postal-code prefixes.

## Who it is for

Tiffin and home-kitchen meal-subscription businesses, typically cooking for tens to hundreds of families a day, most commonly serving South Asian home-style food in Canadian cities. It is not a restaurant point-of-sale, not a food-delivery marketplace, and it takes no cut of orders.
